Stronger Together

The Utah Coalition of Mental Health Professions began as an idea in 2021 of the Utah Mental Health Counselors Association, the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the National Association of Social Workers- Utah Chapter. Together, we determined that many is the issues that face our clients and mental health professionals are overlapping. As a result, with over two years of fine-tuning, we began this fledgling association to become a stronger voice in the State of Utah. Sorry to burst the bubble, but we are directly and intentionally proving to the State of Utah that mental health is not a "turf war" for therapist modalities; we want the same things as our other mental health professionals want: better mental health for all 3 million+ of Utahns.

Born of three,
great Utah associations

...the Utah Coalition of Mental Health Professions, or UCMHP ("pronounced U-CAMP"), brings counselors, therapists, and social workers together to advocate for better mental health for all Utahns. Want to be a member? Join your professional organization and you already will be.

Better together, because collaboration works.
